Hillsboro Residents Directory is a privately run reference to public indexes, record sources, and directory collections connected with Hillsboro and Oregon. It does not host government records and is not affiliated with a Washington County office, a court, a library, or another records custodian.
2. Permitted Use
Use the service only for lawful purposes. You may not use the service, or material located through it, to:
- Stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or harm any person
- Locate someone protected by a restraining or protective order
- Commit identity theft or fraud
- Make FCRA-regulated decisions involving credit, employment, housing, insurance, or a similar regulated purpose
- Scrape, copy, or republish the site's content at scale
- Interfere with the site's operation or security
3. Consumer Reporting Notice
Hillsboro Residents Directory is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq. Nothing on this service, or returned by a linked tool, is a consumer report. It may not be used to determine eligibility for credit, employment, housing, insurance, or another FCRA-covered purpose.
4. Outside Services
Official portals and other external services, including sponsored search tools, operate under their own terms and policies. We do not control their content, availability, pricing, or data practices.
5. No Warranty
The service is offered "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that a detail will be accurate, complete, current, or that an outside portal will remain available or return a correct result.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages resulting from use of this reference or a linked resource, including decisions based on records found through them.
7. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold the site operators harmless from a claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from your misuse of the service or violation of these terms.
8. Intellectual Property
The original text, design, logo, and layout are protected by copyright. Links to a page and brief attributed quotations are permitted. Republishing complete pages or systematically copying site content is not permitted.

We may revise these terms by posting an updated version here. Continued use after a revision means you accept the new terms.
10. Restricting Access
We may restrict or block access, without notice and at our discretion, when a user violates these terms or misuses the service.
11. Oregon Law
Oregon law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Public-record requests to Oregon, Washington County, or Hillsboro custodians remain subject to Oregon Public Records Law, ORS 192.311-192.478, including the request procedures in ORS 192.324. Consumer data rights, where applicable, are addressed by the Oregon Consumer Privacy Act, ORS 646A.570-646A.589.
12. Severability
If a provision of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
